This Privacy Policy explains how Techtriq GmbH (“Techtriq”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data relating to individuals (“you”) who interact with us. It also describes your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.

This Privacy Policy applies when you:
- Visit or use our websites (including https://qibb.com ) or social media pages,
- Access or use any of our applications, platforms, and web services,
- Register for or attend virtual or in-person events hosted or attended by us,
- Your employer or business does business with us (as a customer, partner, or supplier),
- Contact our customer support, sales, or complete a web form,
- Participate in user research, beta testing, or feedback activities,

III. Purposes and legal basis of data processing
1. Use of our Services (website, applications, cloud platform, etc.)
When you use our Services, we may process the following types of personal data:

- Necessary cookies for technical operation are always set.
- Analytics and marketing cookies (including Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, HubSpot, LinkedIn Insight Tag) are only used with your prior consent via our cookie banner/preferences tool.

- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/pre-contractual measures, where applicable)
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests, such as ensuring IT security and service optimization)
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, for analytics/marketing or newsletter subscription)
2. Contact, customer support, and user requests
If you contact us (e.g., support, sales, or via forms), we process the personal data you provide (such as name, email, message content) to handle your request and communicate with you.
Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps at your request) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in responding to requests).
3. Job applications
If you apply for a job, we process your application data (including CV and other details) per Art. 88 GDPR and §26 BDSG. Please do not include special categories of personal data unless strictly necessary.
4. Newsletters and marketing communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and, where provided, your name, based on your consent (via double opt-in). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter or by contacting us.
IV. Links
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (including social media). Once you leave our site or platform, the provider’s own privacy policy applies.
V. Categories of recipients
Your personal data may be shared with:
- Payment service providers and banks (for payment processing)
- Logistics providers (for delivery of physical goods, if applicable)
- IT service providers (hosting, infrastructure, administration)
- Marketing and analytics service providers (where consented)
- Debt collection and legal advisors (for enforcement of legal claims)
Where required, service providers act as data processors under contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
VI. International data transfers
As part of using Google, HubSpot, LinkedIn, or similar tools, data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA (especially to the USA).
- Such transfers are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as appropriate.
- Further safeguards, such as transfer impact assessments (TIAs), are implemented as required.
- Exceptionally, if another basis is required, data transfer may be based on your express consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR).
- We do not otherwise transfer your data to countries outside the EU/EEA.
VII. Duration of storage
- Technical and usage data: Deleted when no longer necessary for operation or security.
- Account/user data: Stored as long as your account is active or as required for contract performance.
- Support/contact data: Stored as long as necessary to process your inquiry and for any legal retention period.
- Job applications: Data of unsuccessful candidates is deleted two months after a decision unless longer retention is justified or consented; data of employees is kept as required by employment law.
- Legal retention: Certain data may be kept up to 10 years due to statutory retention obligations.
VIII. Your rights as data subject
You have the following rights under GDPR:

- Right to deletion (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR, if processing is based on consent or contract and is automated)

IX. Automated decision-making
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making, including profiling, as defined in Article 22 GDPR.
X. Scope of your obligations to provide data
You are generally not obliged to provide us with personal data. However, without certain data, we may be unable to provide Services, process your inquiries, or fulfill contracts.
